![]() Elected Mayor of Adairsville November 6, 2007. Sworn in as Mayor in January 2008. Lifelong resident of Adairsville, Bartow County. Married to Angie Holcombe King and they have one son, Avery. After graduating from Adairsville High School in 1975, Evan attended Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia and Shorter College in Rome, Georgia. After marriage to Angie in 1978, he was in the lumber and construction business until 1985 when he accepted a job with the U.S. Postal Service, where he has worked for the past 23 years. During that time, he has served as Officer-in-Charge of the Adairsville Post Office, as well as Officer-in-Charge assignments at the Cassville, White, Emerson, and Lebanon Post Offices. Other special assignments include city route inspections and rural route office counts at many post offices in the Atlanta District. He sees his service as Mayor of Adairsville as an extension of his public services through the Postal Services. "It is my goal to serve Adairsville, a city that I know and that has been so good to my family, with honor and integrity. As rich as Adairsville's past has been, I think our future is even brighter". |

![]() Buddy has lived in and around the Adairsville area since 1948. Father of two, Lorry and Tillisa and grandfather of three, he lives with his wife Darlene in on Railroad Street. Buddy is the owner/manager of A & B Transport, Inc. Darlene and Buddy are active members of Stamp Creek Baptist Church and the Adairsville Lions Club. |

![]() Carla was elected by special election to the Adairsville City Council in November of 2007, and took office the same month. Carla considers the good of the community as a whole in all of her decisions. She would like to preserve the small town historic feel of Adairsville while allowing for organized and controlled growth. Carla has been married to Randy Fowler for the past 15 years and they have 3 children. She is very active in the community as a past PTO President at Adairsville Elementary School, Co-Chair for the breakfast meeting in Adairsville for the Bartow Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a Director on the Gordon County Board of Realtors. Carla is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Kinard Realty in the Adairsville Office. Carla has been a Realtor with Coldwell Banker since 2004. She is the 2005 and 2006 Top Producer in the Adairsville Office, and also received the 2006 Community Service Award from the Gordon Association of Realtors. In 2007, Carla was named Realtor of the Year for the Gordon Association of Realtors. |

![]() Erwin was elected to the Adairsville City Council in November 2007, and took office in January 2008. He is carrying on a family tradition of civic duty following his father, Mr. Otis Holcomb, who served as Mayor of Adairsville in the 1970's. Erwin graduated from Adairsville High School in 1978. He managed then owned Holcomb's S&H grocery store until 2005, now he owns and manages rental properties. Erwin and his wife Debra have two daughters, Beth & Melissa. Erwin Holcomb served on the Board of Directors for the Etowah Area Housing Authority from 1995 to 2008. He also served on the Adairsville Planning Commission for 3 years. |

![]() Alan was first elected to the council in a special election held March 2007 to fill the remaining 9 month term on Post One. That same year he ran unopposed to continue serving the citizens as Councilman Post One. He is a long time resident of Adairsville, a graduate of Adairsville High School and the Federal Department of Transportation Safety Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Alan is married to the former La Creshia Hibberts and has 3 daughters, and sons-in-law, Lauren and Phillip Thompson, Lindsey and Clinton Woodall, and Olivia Towe. They also have 4 grandchildren Jeanna, Luke, and Annelyse Thompson, and Kennedy Woodall. Alan is employed with the Georgia Public Service Commission as a principle investigator. He is an active member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Adairsville, and is currently serving as a member of Northside Bank Advisory Committee. He has served in the community as Master of Adairsville Lodge #168 and as a member of the Adairsville Development Authority. Alan's desire is to serve all the citizens of Adairsville through planning for future growth without jeopardizing the present infrastructure. Alan's experience and expertise in the utility industry and love for Adairsville will assist in providing services and protecting the place we call home.
