The Adairsville Downtown Development Authority celebrate Adairsville's heritage with a series of free, public activities during the month of May. This annual event is called MayFest.
Dates: Monday, May 12 - Saturday, May 17 (subject to change)
Location: Downtown
All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
Lions Club Bluegrass Festival
Hosted by the Adairsville's Lion Club in Log Town. Admission to this event is free, but donations cheerfully accepted. Bluegrass music features groups including Southern Dawn, 411 Band, Truett Moss Western Band. Bleacher seating available but festival-goers may bring their own lawn chairs.
Rides and Entertainment
Other activities will be held in Public Square area. In addition, the DDA will sponsor a Hudson car show from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and Heritage Carriage Rides from 2-6 p.m. $10 per person/$5 per child; with souvenir photo included.
Arts and Crafts
Enjoy sidewalk sales throughout the day at the Public Square.
The Lions Club will have a variety of food available for purchase including barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, drinks and more.
From the South: Take I-75 North to Exit 306, GA 140 west. Turn left, across bridge to Adairsville. Continue straight through traffic light across US 41 then left onto Main Street. Continue one mile to Adairsville's Historic Public Square on the right.
From the North: Take I-75 South to Exit 306, GA 140 west. Turn right to Adairsville. Continue straight through traffic light across US 41 then left onto Main Street. Continue one mile to Adairsville's Historic Public Square on the right.
