The City of Adairsville is a historic City that was established in 1854. Most of the buildings in the old section of the City are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
We are a fast growing residential, commercial and industrial City that lies in the northwestern portion of Bartow County. We are accessible via I-75, U.S. 41, Georgia 140 and Old Dixie Highway. We are the halfway point between Atlanta, Ga. and Chattanooga, Tenn.
The police department is comprised of the Chief, Assistant Chief, and four Sergeants along with nine patrol officers, three reserve officers and two administrative assistants, when at full compliment. The department has a patrol division, investigation division and clerical/administration section. The patrol division is staffed 24/7, and all of our personnel are dedicated to the preservation of safety and service to our citizens and our visitors.
We invite you to come visit us and enjoy the peaceful, down home Southern atmosphere that we experience daily.
Sincerely,
